 The films that can be seen are the current top 15 films in UK cinemas as of the 21st of January 2016. 20th Century Fox seem to have the top number of films in these top 15 which suggests that they are the most popular UK distributor at this time. 9 of the top 15 films are being distributed by the Big Six which proves that they have lots of power and control in the industry.

These two films are some of the most promoted films being released in the UK in February 2016. They are both being distributed by big well known companies with Universal being in the "Big Six". These films are being promoted on the sides of buses,billboards and also the trailers are being shown before other films in the cinema of the same genre as the target audience will be the same.

Room - Generic Research

Room is a 2015 Canadian-Irish drama thriller film directed by Lenny Abrahamson. The film starts Brie Larson, Jacob Tremblay and Joan Allen. As of January 2016 Room has grossed a total of $6.3 million. A24 films acquired the US rights to the film. The film has a limited release in the United States which shows that it is an independent film as there it is not being shown in lots of cinemas.

Room has a twitter page which has 4,753 followers. This is not a massive following as it is not a huge film.
